Seventh Veil Statuary

Our statues are the whole reason we got into this business in the first place. We went to Bali looking for the perfect Kuan Yin, and although we're still looking for that one, we found many others we we loved and wanted to bring home and share with our friends.

These images powerfully invoke the presence of the deity and bring their divine energy to any room or garden. Kuan Yin is known as "she who hears the cries of the world" and her presence is one of profound healing and compassion. Ganesha is the "remover of obstacles" bestowing good fortune and a deep understanding of physical manifestation. Buddha is, of course, a powerful symbol of inner peace and a reminder that this Universal Peace abides within each of us.

The statues are handmade, of the highest quality in workmanship and materials. The stone is Javanese Black Lava stone, a heavy, dense stone that will last for generations— and keep looking better and better as it ages. Stone aggregate is fine cast stone that is cast, carved and smoothed.

The wood in these statues is Monkeypod—known in Indonesia as "Suar"—the wood of the Rain Tree. This beautifully-grained hardwood is heavy, durable and takes fine detail. These wooden statues are all carved in Bali by a master carver and his family named Teman Sari.
