Rayon Sarongs
Sarongs (also known in Tahiti as pareu or pareo) are those most Indonesian of garments that are now popular throughout the world for their simplicity, beauty and versatility.
Here we offer a range of colorful hand-batiked sarongs from Nuansa Harmony of Bali. Nuansa Harmony means atmosphere of harmony. These sarongs are designed and made by Wayan Sipia of the Banjar village of Bringkit. They are made of medium-weight rayon that is both light and absorbent with a soft feel and graceful drape. All our Nuansa Harmony sarongs feature a contrasting border pattern and are finished with a simple 1/8" hem—no fringe. Dimensions are 44" x 70".
